Meet Dr. Scott Ghere, DO

Welcome to Advanced Family Care, where I am dedicated to providing exceptional family medicine care to the Tulsa community. My passion lies in helping others achieve their best health.

As a native Oklahoman, I graduated from Jenks High School and Northeastern State University. My journey in medicine began in the early 1990s as an EMT, an experience that ignited my lifelong commitment to healthcare. I advanced to become a paramedic and later pursued nursing school, specializing in the Heart Catheterization Lab. These diverse experiences laid a solid foundation for my medical career and ultimately led to my decision to attend medical school.

In 2005, I earned my medical degree from the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa, OK. I then completed my Family Medicine residency at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, where I refined my skills in comprehensive patient care. I am board-certified in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT).

With 18 years of experience as a family medicine specialist, I have had the privilege of serving the Tulsa area and fostering lasting relationships with my patients and their families. My approach to medicine is holistic, emphasizing prevention and health maintenance to keep you out of the hospital and enjoying life to the fullest.

Outside my practice, I cherish spending quality time with my family and pets. My wife, Amy, is my high school sweetheart. Together, we have two wonderful children. We are avid OSU fans, and Saturdays often find us cheering on the Cowboys with our extended family. My hobbies include playing basketball, skeet shooting, golfing, and restoring old firearms. I look forward to partnering with you on your health journey. My goal is to provide personalized, compassionate care that empowers you to live a healthy, vibrant life.
